Quality by in-company production
In the mid-seventies Velda started manufacturing aquarium products. Initially the production included products such as ornamental wall boarding for aquaria and medication for small tropical fishes.

Owing to the success of this effort, the range of products was soon extended to include water tests, nutrient mediums and filter materials.

When in the early eighties the popularity of the garden pond increased on a national level, Velda was at the beginning of this new development. Fish feed, bottom substrates and algaecides were added to the product assortment.
