SaniKoi Paratex is an animal medicine for ornamental cold water fish, which kills carp louse (Argulus) and anchor worms (Lernea). The parasites are clearly visible on the skin and they feed on the body fluid of the fish. This can be fatal for the host. Normally, a single treatment of the pond will be sufficient.
As the activity of the medicinal compounds will be reduced under the influence of light, we advise to start treatment at nightfall. If filtering equipment is present, it should be switched off for a couple of hours during the course of treatment. In this way the medicine will be prevented from being removed through the filter. After treatment, the filter material, having been rinsed out, can be put to use again. SaniKoi Paratex may not be administered along with different medication.
