Classic Substrate from Velda has been the standard for biological nutrient media for your pond for years. With its very airy and porous structure, this pond substrate ensures maximum attachment of micro-organisms. With clear water For achieving a natural and stable balance in garden ponds, the nutrient medium plays a particularly important role. On the one hand, this nutrient medium is important for the development of micro-organisms; on the other, the material must contain sufficient nutrients for the growth of pond plants to be optimal and constant. With this knowledge, Velda has formulated the pond substrate. Velda Classic Substrate has therefore been a leader in the field of pond nutrient substrates for years. The substrate has an open structure and a large internal surface area. This ensures maximum growth of micro-organisms. Furthermore, a sophisticated composition with minerals and trace elements guarantees strong and constant growth of water lilies and marsh plants. Ponds designed with this pond substrate clearly have a faster development of the biological balance and ultimately a clear pond.
