Pond scoop net, indispensable tool

Good pond scoop nets are an indispensable tool for any pond. And for each pond job you use a different type of net. For catching fish, amphibians and other, somewhat larger aquatic animals you use a sturdy fishing net. We at Velda have a number of scoop nets in the assortment with different sizes and shapes. And in the warm months, you have to deal with extra algae growth in your pond. Algae are rampant plants that can stunt the growth of your other pond plants. You can easily remove them with fine-mesh scoop nets. Don’t remove everything because they provide oxygen to small aquatic animals. You can also use them to remove fine debris and leaf litter. Some scoop nets have a telescopic handle so you can adjust the length of the scoop net yourself.
