Round pond basin

The form that we devise for our pond usually has got something to do with personal taste and the design of the remaining part of the garden. A round pond is beautiful if its round form is present also at different places in the garden. For a purely circular pond the best thing is to opt for a preformed pond or pond basin. It is very difficult to build a pond that is round from pond foil. A round shuttering for a concrete pond is not very simple either.

The pond side finish also requires somewhat more creativeness. Pond lumps of peat or step stones are indeed suitable as pond side finish. A great advantage of a round pond is that there are no problems of accumulating dirt in the corners.
